Scott Disick, Chris Brown are new BFFs who vow to help each other stay sober
Troubled reality TV star Scott Disick has been hanging out with singer Chris Brown in recent weeks. With both celebrities having a history of substance abuse, it seems like a bad idea for a new friendship. However, Disick and Brown are reportedly insisting that they are helping each other stay sober.
TMZ reports that the new BFFs are claiming that they have become each other’s support system. The pair was spotted heading to 1OAK nightclub after having dinner together last week. They reportedly had some clean fun, drinking water only. No alcohol was reportedly consumed during the night out, and water was the only form of refreshment that the two shared.
Both men have had trouble in their relationships because of their substance and alcohol abuse issues. Disick and his longtime girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian, broke up back in July after one of Disick's party binges. Brown has not had much luck with his lovelife either after breaking up with Karrueche Tran last year and going on a custody battle with his baby mama, Nia Guzman.
Despite claims that they are helping each other stay sober, scenes from Brown’s latest music video tells an entirely different story. In Brown's video for his new single “Picture Me Rollin,’” Disick made a cameo appearance as a foul-mouthed party animal. He forces Brown to party with him after the latter had a big fight with his girl. The two of them go all-out in a wild party which includes several scenes of sexual promiscuity and loads of booze.
It remains to be seen if real life will reflect the music video or if the pair will be able to become a good influence on each other. Disick can also give Brown some parenting advice, drawing from his experience with his three children, namely Mason, 6, Penelope, 3 and Reign, 1. Brown has a one-year-old daughter named Royalty.
