American reality TV star Scott Disick is back in rehab. This time around, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star has checked into the Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica. The rehab stint is meant to finally stop Scott’s long-running issues with alcohol and substance abuse.

According to a report by TMZ, the Rythmia Life Advancement Center is a world-class facility that offers five-star services to its clients. Scott will be receiving what is promised to be a revolutionary new treatment which is described to be “hallucinogenic.” The said treatment involves the roots of the iboga plant which is claimed to have properties that help prevent addictions to alcohol and other substances like dangerous drugs. Scott reportedly headed to Costa Rica straight after a weekend of partying in Atlantic City with a group of friends. Scott was in the area to make a public appearance at a night club where he was spotted drinking.

E! News reports that Scott has visited the facility before and has decided to return. The current stint is part of an ongoing regular program that Scott decided to do for himself without anyone persuading him. The same report also claims that the facility is offering a money-back guarantee if the treatment does not work.

Alcohol and substance abuse has been an ongoing problem for Scott. Some incidents related to his drinking have been documented on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” over the years. Last summer, Scott also checked himself into a rehab facility in Connecticut. He was compelled to undergo treatment after a night of particularly heavy drinking and an over-ingestion of sleeping pills. He ended up in the hospital with alcohol poisoning. He didn’t stay in the rehab facility very long but he admitted that the experience taught him a lot.

Scott and his girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian have been dealing with his issues over the years and their relationship has also been affected. Many of their fights have also been documented on the family’s various reality shows. They have three children together, 5-year-old Mason, 2-year-old Penelope and three-month old Reign. Kourtney was spotted running errands with the children on Tuesday while their father is in Costa Rica getting rid of his undesirable habits.
