Scout Willis took the selfie crazy to the next level when she posted a topless photo of herself in her Twitter account. Bruce Willis and Dei Moore's daughter used the social media platform to make a statement and she explains everything on her blog post in xojane.com.

She starts the post with making the statement that she really loved Instagram. Loved in the past tense being the operative word. She then goes on to explain what prompted her to post the topless photo of herself which she says stemmed from the deletion of her account over "instances of abuse."

These instances she explains, relate to a photo of herself wearing a sheer top and a post featuring a jacket that she made with a photo of two close friends topless printed in front. She then stated that the post has resulted in the deletion of her account with a notice that she will no longer be welcome in the Instagram community.

She then goes on to say that she is not alone and women get kicked out off the popular photo sharing app due to any form of nipple exposure while photos of breasts without the nipple showing, no matter how degrading, remain on the site. She then explains that this is the reason behind her bold move.

" I walked around New York topless and documented it on Twitter, pointing out that what is legal by New York state law is not allowed on Instagram." She explains

She delves deeper into other social and censorship issues and also touches on her own celebrity as being the focus of discussion and not the real issue at hand.

"What began as a challenge to Instagram and its prejudiced community guidelines became an opportunity for dialogue. Matters like the taboo of the nipple in the 21st century, public breastfeeding, slut shaming, fat shaming, breast cancer awareness, body positivity, gender inequality, and censorship have found their way into mainstream discussion. But unfortunately the emphasis in the press has been on sensationalizing my breasts, chiefly in terms of my family." she says.

She recognizes that she is a white girl corn to Hollywood stars and as such, has been born to a life of privilege. She then points out that this is a cause that is not pioneered y her but by many who have come before her. Her fame is only a good way to propel the cause.

She ends her post with a call to action for those who believe in her cause to take action.

I call out to every person moved by this to take physical -- as well as digital -- action, and help transform what started out as a casual topless stroll into something resembling true change."
