Sean Kingston expected to recover from jet ski crash injuries
After the singer famous for the song Beautiful Girls was hospitalized last Sunday for a freak jet ski crash in Miami, his doctors confirmed he's on the road to recovery.
The 21-year-old singer was treated at the trauma ward after witnesses took him, along with a female passenger, to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. His injuries were so severe that some even thought he might not make it. Kingston is currently in a "stable condition", despite still being attached to a breathing tube. According to his family and attending doctors, he can now communicate trough made-up sign language and nods.
Kingston was driving a brand new Sea Doo jet ski (which he bought just days before) when he crashed into a bridge. Sean had just moved to a new house in Miami when he decided to take his new jet ski for a spin. According to witnesses from a nearby boat, he dropped his life jacket during the crash that caused him to drown. The witnesses claim they saw the singer vomiting water and blood once they were able to get a hold of him. Kingston fractured his jaw and wrist and because he was underwater for a long time, he also had water in his lungs.
According to a report by TMZ, the female passenger, named Cassandra Sanchez, who was with Kingston say the singer, drove the water mobile "really fast". Sanchez came to Miami with a friend to ride jet skis with the singer and a male companion. "Both jet skis pulled out of the dock at the same time and we were going so fast we just blasted past them. When we turned a corner and crashed ... they were so far behind us they didn't even see us crash", says Sanchez in the TMZ post. Sanchez also adds that she tried to "stop" Kingston before the crashed occurred.
