The popular Canadian crooner, Michael Buble, holds a secret acting past when he appeared in one black and white episode of 'The X-Files.'

He openly admits about this acting stint saying that he had no choice that time but to earn some extra cash when he was finally asked to play a role of an extra for a sea-faring cast of characters.

He shares in an interview done over Parade Magazine that he has done the role with enthusiasm for he needed some good cash at that time.

"It was a very small part. I was a sailor. I just needed the money. My singing career was non-existent at that point," the singer said.

Good thing that he did not have to work in deeper and work on more sea crew roles for his music career took off earlier than he expected. In real life though, the singer used to take the sea journey with his own father who is also a fisherman right off the coast of Vancouver, British Columbia.
