George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin got married last September 27 and made their first appearance as the couple on Sept 28. Here are some secret details of the A-List star's wedding:

1. The couple got married in a seven star hotel in Venice and made sure that the staff keeps their wedding ceremony a top secret, according to reports by TVNz. It was further reported that to keep the affair private all the details were hidden from paparazzi.

2. A close friend and ex-Mayor, Walter Veltroni, reportedly conducted the couple's marriage.

3. The first guest to arrive was Matt Damon and his wife Luciana. The other guest for the evening included Cindy Crawford with her husband, Rande Gerbner, Bono, John Krasinski with Emily Blunt and Bill Murray.

4. The guests were given do's and don'ts list according to reports by NY Daily News.

5. There was a phone with special code that was given for use to the friends and family during the wedding ceremony. The guests were required to leave their phones at the reception and according to NY Daily News as a request, the couple wrote, "We have to work very hard to keep our pictures OUR pictures. If you see someone taking a photo with a phone ... you can help by notifying security."

6. The decoration of wedding venue was done in green and white. "Staff were preparing bouquets, table arrangements and other floral designs well into the night," a hotel source US Weekly,"Everything they were using was white with green flourishes, lots of roses and peonies being used."

7. Crawford's husband Rande supposedly gave a mischievous speech to make the couple laugh according to further by the website. A source said that Gerbner wanted to have fun with Clooney with his speech.

8. Moreover, post the ceremony the guests were treated to ochampagne and canapés including polenta with wild mushrooms, according to the reports, The dinner was a five course meal including Lemon risotto with lobster and a choice between sea bass and steak, reports TVNz
