Just a few days before the MTV Video Music Awards, Miley Cyrus declared that she's bored of her short hair and would rather like to grow it again. However the "We Can't Stop" singer shocked the fashion world when she further shaved the sides of her head and appeared in a unique style.

The 20-year-old was seen in a tiny double hair knots sitting atop her closely-shaven head. Some call this hairstyle mini raver bun while some said she copied the look of Angelica's doll Cynthia from "The Rugrats!"

Tumblr user @aurinbass said, "So I was out playing with my band last night, and apparently at the MTV Awards that I make a point of /not/ watching, that Miley Cyrus character went and made herself look like Angelica's doll Cynthia from "The Rugrats."

Another user put the picture of Miley and Cynthia doll together with a caption, "I mean... Anyone else see the resemblance?...#mileycyrus #cynthia"
