Kim Kardashian has explored her wild side before she got pregnant as a relatively new side of the teeth-grill wearing mother of baby North West has been revealed in the new issue of CR Fashion Book. A then-pregnant Kim is seen showing off her baby bump in various outfits but in a rather remorse sort of way in the newly released photos.

Famed photographer Karl Lagerfeld shot the pictures of Kardashian in a surprising new way. One picture shows the 32-year-old Kim sitting with her back towards the pink wall wearing an Ann Demeulemeester dress and her lips smeared with red lipstick and some other substance, which appears to be a fruit jam. Kim doesn't smile but sits in a rather grumpy manner and looks directly into the camera.

Other picture shows Kim wearing a black bra, satin black pants with a jacket thrown on her shoulders. The pregnant Kim is showing off her baby bump and wearing pink gloves and blue sports shoes! It can't get weird than this! Kim gave birth just one month after this edgy photo shoot.

CR Fashion Book is the brainchild of Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld's new magazine, CR Fashion Book. She told Huffington Post that the whole idea of the Kim photo shoot was to surprise people whether they like it or not.

"Always surprise people. People like it or they don't like it," she told the newspaper.

And what was the reaction of people when they saw Kim in this avatar with lips smeared and golden teeth?

"People were very surprised. I think it's good to have surprises in fashion because we always see the same things," the editor reveals.

Kim Kardashian, who is keeping a relatively low profile these days after giving birth to baby Nori, was equally surprised by the results.

"OMG the COVER of Carine Roitfeld's @crfashionbook #issue3!!! Shot by @karllagerfeld! Thank you @riccardotisci17 #Fam #ThisIsCrazy!!!!! #Dying!!!!!," she expressed her excitement while posting the cover photo on Instagram.

However not all of Kim's fans, who are used to seeing her in sexy lingerie and kinky photo shoots, have liked her new edgy pictures.

"So is this supposed to be the "hood-Kim" that smokes weed and wears gangsta grills? Even she looks more thug than Kanyes weak ass! I love u Kim but seriously you can do way better!," commented one fan named corinakarina.

"Awful, awful awful! You have changed though: less makeup in general, blonde hair, no extensions, OK style, nothing glam anymore! Those are the prettiest women. Thank God Kanye put you in check!," said another fan emma about the picture.

We think that Kim kind of looks different yet stylish in new set of pictures but she is over with that pregnant phase now and can turn things around with a racy new photo shoot any day. What do you think of this picture?
