Getting the notes right for a Britney Spears song can prove to be difficult but for "Spring Breakers" stars, Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson did quite the job. Britney Spears took notice of the song that the pop star is more than willing to duet with Selena Gomez. Will Disney's best and brightest stars, Selena Gomez and Britney Spears, collaborate anytime soon?

Harmony Korine's directed film, "The Spring Breakers" made its debut at Austin, Texas during the SXSW 2013 premiere. Joining the director were his girls, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine. During the casts' SXSW panel, Gomez and Benson were asked to sing an impromptu version of "Baby One More Time" made popular by Britney Spears.

Of all the things to ask, why were the girls requested to sing the same song in the "Spring Breakers" film? Well, rumour has it that Selena and the gang had lip synced to the song in one of the scenes.

"I'm so confused. They thought we were lip syncing? It doesn't even sound good though!" said Selena in one interview.

To show that the girls could do it and prove that they weren't lip-syncing at all, Selena Gomez and Benson immediately belted out a short rendition of Spears' hit song, "Baby One More Time." The girls sang it perfectly well and their performance happened to attract even the attention of Miss Spears herself.

The "X-Factor" judge took to Twitter to express her opinion on the performance. Judging from what Spears had to say, the singer was definitely impressed with the girls and most specifically by Selena Gomez.

"Awww @selenagomez can duet with me anytime," stated Britney, adding, "PS- I heard @springbreakers is AAA-MAZING! Can't wait to see it!"

Hopefully, Spears' and Gomez's' producers catch their drift and make way for collaboration between the two talented stars. As for the "Spring Breakers" film, Britney should definitely be viewing it given it featured two of her hit songs. Obviously, the girls of "Spring Breakers" love Britney Spears and she too loves them right back.
