Despite having announced plans early this year about quitting the music career, Selena Gomez is back on track and working on creating her next album.

Like boyfriend, Justin Bieber, Selena Gome wants the music to have a fun yet mature vibe. Given that nature, Selena has enlisted the help of BFF, Taylor Swift in the creation of her upcoming album.

The 19-year old singer-turned-actress is definitely making her mark in Hollywood. Having wrapped up three films this year, Selena Gomez has gone back to the recording studio to work on her two albums.

"I finished three movies this year, so I'm very happy about that, because it's exactly what I wanted: I wanted to do film for a little bit," shared Selena Gomez in an interview with MTV.

"But I am missing music, so we're going to start on the fourth record at the end of this year" added Gomez.

What kind of music does the former Disney princess have in mind for her next album?

"Very different! I want to go for producers that probably wouldn't want me to do their songs," explained Selena.

"I just want to knock on their door. I also want to work with Fun. I want to work with just different styles of music," added Justin Bieber's' girlfriend.

In addition to making "very different" music, Selena Gomez has collaboration in mind with Best Friend Forever, Taylor Swift. The two did share the same stage during Gomez's' concert and the fans indeed loved the pairing. Selena's idea of creating music with the country crooner is one of her best ideas to date.

"I also want to work with Taylor [Swift] too. So I just want to do different things for this album," said Selena. "By the time it comes out, I'll almost be 21, so I want to be able to - wow, that sounds really scary! I want it to be older."

However, for a few fans of Gomez, why Taylor Swift and not Demi Lovato? Well, Taylor Swift sheds light on her friendship with Selena in the Brazilian magazine, Capricho.

"She's so trustworthy, never judges you and knows how to listen," said Swift. "We've been friends for four years and she has been through so much with me that I can say we're almost sisters."

So to date, Selena has three films, two albums and a fragrance launch plus she's only just begun having her "fun". A Justin Bieber collaboration perhaps?
