Selena Gomez on 'Feed the Dog': 'There's a little bit of sexual stuff in it'
Selena Gomez is definitely in a hurry to shed her good-girl image she tried so hard to build during her Disney days. From going gaga on "Spring Breakers" to an even more sexual role for "Feed the Dogs", Gomez is proving there is more to her than meets the eye.
Justin Bieber's girlfriend is anything but wild when it comes to red carpet premieres and even after-parties. However, the 20-year old begs to differ when it comes to roles she portrays on film.
Selena's first ever post-Disney flick is a Harmony Korine-directed film that talks about four college girls on a spring break. Everything may sound boring and innocent if not for the fact that Gomez along with Benson and Hudgens let loose on the streets of Florida in their neon bikinis, smoke and get wasted as well.
The film had quite the epic effect at the Cannes Film Festival and even more so at the last Venice Film Festival. From all over the web, rave reviews have poured in about Korine's comeback film. Everyone else is simply excited to see Gomez release the bad girl in her.
Thankfully, "Spring Breakers" won't be the only film where Gomez lets loose and live. In a whole new other film based on the coming-of-age novel, "While I'm Dead... Feed the Dog", Selena Gomez is set to portray another sexually enticing role. In an interview with The Collider, Selena Gomez talks all about her role in the dark and humorous film.
"It's a little edgy, a little dark. I've been saying it's a dark comedy, it's more of a comedy but there's a little bit of sexual stuff in it," explains Gomez, adding, "It's actually really hard to explain this movie. I've had interviews for it already and I'm just like, 'I don't know how to explain it."
In short, fans of Gomez simply need to hit the cinemas once the film does hit the big screen. Gomez's other films include "Spring Breakers" set for a 2013 release, the animated film "Hotel Transylvania", the action flick "The Getaway" with Ethan Hawke and the rumored film-adaptation of "13 Reasons Why."
