Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are officially together. However, there is a catch to the relationship status of Selena and Justin. Sources close to the couple claim that the "Jelena" couple is currently on a "trial period."

What had begun as a reunion has bloomed into a full-blown relationship. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are definitely back together. Taylor Swift might not be able to stick out her tongue so much now given Justin Bieber is here to stay.

"Justin and Selena are dating but they are taking things slow," claims the source close to the couple.

"Selena is keeping her heart from being broken, so she is definitely looking at this as a trial period in their relationship. She's definitely taking [baby] steps back," continued the source.

Given that both Selena and Justin were a bit too young when the relationship first begun, both stars are taking things slower this time around. Hopefully, the couples' past mistakes are enough to serve as a lesson for the romance in rewind.

"When they first started to date, it was amazing but they were too young and it was too much. They didn't even know what love was and she got all mixed up," explained the source.

Apart from the romance, Selena Gomez has also got her eye focused on her career. The same goes for Justin Bieber who has allegedly got back to writing his own songs. According to Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, Justin is working on another album with songs he had written himself.

With the career in the right path and the romance back on track, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are again one happy couple - not to the delight of BFF, Taylor Swift.
