After Justin Bieber announcement of retiring from the music industry, Selena Gomez infuriated her teen fans by abruptly canceling her Australian tour.

The "Come And Get It " singer said in a statement that, "It has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be."

Selena recently stirred a controversy after dropping a "F-Bomb" at the jingle bell concert, where she was caught lip-syncing her song. Strangely, Selena's decision has come after Justin Bieber said in a interview to Power 108 FM that the is taking a step back from the music industry as she needs to spend some time from the family. He further told MTV news during the premiere of his movie "Believe", "I wanna get to know my family more."

The singer then added that he wanted to retire to "figure out myself as a man. I've been away so much, I've missed a lot of great years with my brother and sister."

It is strange that Selena has given a similar reason for canceling her Australian tour. We wonder why the ex- lovers are doing such bizarre talks. Are they tired of the limelight or of the constant scrutiny of their lives by paparazzi?

Justin Bieber even revealed to the radio station that he loves Selena till this day and his song "All That Matters" is dedicated to her. Is Selena affected by Justin's emotional confession?
