Nothing says grown up than going nude on the big screen. This is what rising pop princess Selena Gomez is allegedly aiming for. In the hopes of showing her fans how far and how grown up she's become, Selena Gomez is ready to go topless on screen.

Former Disney and Barney star, Selena Gomez is making a mark in the music and movie industry as of late. For one, the outfits and films say a lot about Gomez's maturity through the years. The anticipated film debut of "Spring Breakers" in the US has already got "Selenators" in frenzy.

Almost everyone is dying to see Selena Gomez shed her good girl image on screen. In fact, rumour has it even Selena Gomez is in a hurry to show off her grown-up self that she's more than willing to go topless in her next film.

"Now that Selena is growing up to be a more serious actress and separating herself from her Disney past, she has no problem going topless if the role calls for it. Without a doubt, Selena would go topless in a film if the role was right," reports Hollywood Life.

Judging from Selena's movie genre since leaving Disney, "Spring Breakers", "Behaving Badly" "Ruderless" and "The Getaway" have all been dark comedies to thriller action flicks. Going topless or even nude might be the next big step for Gomez if she keeps accepting the roles in dark-themed movies. Though some fans claim Gomez already went topless for "Spring Breakers", this was not Gomez but a body double.

By far, Gomez is certainly focusing on the roles she's set to take on. If the projects keep pouring in, Selena might just quit singing and focus on acting.

"Yeah, probably for a while," explained Gomez, adding, "I wanna get more into film. I'm open to trying new things. I just did an action movie and a dark comedy and then a drama so I've been able to do really fun projects that are different."

Right now its obvious Selena Gomez is enjoying her film career but if she's eyeing an Oscar Award in the near future, getting topless on screen isn't the trick.
