Selena Gomez to Release Another Album in 2014?
Following the success of her fourth studio album, "Stars Dance" Gomez is set to release another album by 2014. Despite complaining about an "exhausting" work schedule, Gomez is obviously "striking whilst the iron is still hot." So what should "Selenators" expect from Gomez's fifth studio album?
Selena's single, "Come & Get It" and album "Stars Dance" has managed to rule the Billboard Charts. "Stars Dance" gained whopping sales of 97,000 copies in its first week beating Jay-Z to the Billboard 200. This counts as Selena's first number one and she's got her "Selenators" to thank. However, it appears as if the success isn't enough for Gomez because talk has it she's set to work on her fifth studio album for release next year.
The "Come & Get It" singer might be complaining of a hectic and tiring schedule but that isn't slowing her down from making another album. Even with "Stars Dance" world tour kicking off on August 14, Selena still has time to work on another record.
"I was just telling everyone that I'm probably going to release another record next year," said Selena, adding, "I'm just so pumped and definitely, the older I get, the more I get inspired and the bigger I want to make my music."
Aside from the music and the tours, Gomez has her movies to work on. Gomez's latest action packed film starring alongside Ethan Hawke, the "Getaway" is set to be released by Labour Day which means promotion for the film is on her schedule. The "Getaway" isn't Selena's only film because Gomez is currently shooting scenes for "Rudderless." With films, music and promotions, it's not surprising Gomez has claimed she's "exhausted."
"I find that it's just exhausting to do both. I just really found myself not having a life. I felt like I wanted to separate it a little more once Wizards [Of Waverly Palace] was over, and I just kind of separated them as best as I could. It is hard, because I take such a long break without one or the other and I end up missing it a lot," explained Gomez.
"Selenators" will definitely have a lot to look forward to this year until the next.
