Selena Gomez Remains Firm During Bieber Scandal
Be it a scandal or not, Selena Gomez will always have her man's back.
Selena Gomez of "Wizards of Waverly Place" fame vows to stand by her boyfriend, pop sensation Justin Bieber, despite the scandal covering him regarding a backstage rendezvous that allegedly caused a baby.
"According to The Mirror, the Hit The Lights singer is planning to join JB on the road as "a sign of solidarity" following 20-year old Mariah Yeater's accusations that he is her son Tristyn's dad," reports MTV regarding Gomez's plans on joining the "Never Say Never" singer songwriter on tour to show solidarity.
Justin Bieber is the newest teen pop sensation to hit the market, with catchy and upbeat songs such as "One Time" and "Baby," he was first discovered via Youtube and is now produced by Usher, who also collaborated with him in one of his songs, "Sombody to Love."
It was also reported that during a promotional trip to the UK, Bieber and Gomez were seen being all lovey-dovey and basically enthralled with each other at KISS FM radio in London.
"Justin is said to be 'cut up' after Yeater's accusations, and will take a paternity test as soon as he returns to the US to prove his innocence." MTV added.
Yeater said to have been brought backstage and was coerced by Bieber into having sex with him, since it was his first time.
"Selena just wants the world to know she is 100 per cent behind Justin," MTV continued.
Selena Gomez is one of the many Disney stars who have broken through the mainstream, along with Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, and the Jonas Brothers. Like them, Gomez also started with a show in Disney Channel called "Wizards of Waverly Place," eventually moved on to Disney Original Movies, and then to the music industry, where she is the founder and lead singer of "Selena Gomez & the Scene", who have released platinum singles such as "Naturally" and "Who Says."
People who represent Bieber said that after the paternity test proves that the alleged mother is lying, she will be sued for defamation.
Whatever the issue may be, it's a good thing that Gomez is showing loyalty to her boyfriend - something quite rare in Hollywood these days.
