Selena Gomez Reveals Crush on a 'New Girl'

It appears as if Selena Gomez has found a cure to her "Bieber Fever" in a recent tweet made by the 19-year old singer. She may still be in a relationship with Justin Bieber but that doesn't mean Selena can't help but fall for someone else.

"New Girl's" Zooey Deschanel is currently Selena Gomez's apple of the eye and she's definitely "Twirly" for her.

The "Who Says" singer took to Twitter to publicly announce her new found affection for another celebrity. Mind you, it isn't a guy. Selena, along with her tweet sent out a photo via Instagram of her current girl crush, Zooey Deschanel who plays adorable and quirky, Jess, in the hit television show, "New Girl."

"My current girl crush.. Well I've never had one before so she's my first. #Twirly #Newgirl !!!!! instagr.am/p/HNi5d-xu_j/," tweeted Selena last February 19.

For fans who are wondering what Selena Gomez meant by her hash tag, Twirly, then a few dedicated viewers of "New Girl" would know exactly what this meant.

In the last week's episode of "New Girl", Jess played by Zooey Deschanel decided to go man-hunting for Valentine's Day simply because she had been "feeling pretty twirly". Twirly in the Jess vocabulary simply mean 'horny.'

So did this pretty much mean Selena didn't just have an "innocent" girl crush on Zooey but something way more? It would be really funny if it were so and it would make a lot of "Jelena" fans wonder what Justin Bieber thought of this confession.

As for "New Girl's" Jess, Zooey Deschanel, the tweet made by Selena Gomez did not fail to go unnoticed. Zooey Deschanel, who was on the front cover of Allure Magazine which Selena was holding up, sent out a reply to Gomez's tweet.

"I'm honored!" tweeted back Zooey.

Well, Selena Gomez does have quite the taste in women and who wouldn't have a girl crush on the lovely, Zooey Deschanel?

This isn't the first time Hollywood has heard of celebrities crushing on other celebs of the same sexuality like Reese Witherspoon crushing on Kate Middleton or Daniel Radcliffe and his bro-crush on the hunky, Ryan Gosling.

With that said maybe Justin Bieber should keep an eye out for his "Mamacita Gomez" in case she decides to make a move on her "twirly" crush, Zooey Deschanel.
