Selena Gomez has officially gone amok - on film.

The former Disney princess had begun bearing all she could on the set of "Spring Breakers." Smoking and now, Selena is starting to get trigger-happy. In the 19-year olds' latest flick, "The Getaways," it looks as if Selena is getting into some heavy action packed scenes, guns included.

The 19-year old star is just about itching to shed her good girl image. Parading around in a neon blue bikini, Selena had partied on the streets of Florida to get completely wasted. If Selena is looking for the perfect post-Disney film then she definitely didn't go wrong with "Spring Breakers". Though it appears to be easy for Selena on set, Selena had taken lessons off screen with regards to smoking.

"I was getting kind of repetitive in terms of the roles I was picking, and I really wanted to do something that was completely different. It was a mark thing for me - like, 'This is what I want to be doing.' I want to be taking myself seriously as an actress," shared Selena.

"This was definitely a stretch. I mean, I'd never smoked a cigarette before in my entire life. It was really funny - they had to show me how to do it." added the actress.

After wrapping up production on "Spring Breakers", Selena took no time to rest and headed straight off to Bulgaria to start shooting "The Getaway" with Ethan Hawke. Based on the classic 1972 hit starring Steve McQueen and Ali McGraw, "The Getaway" revolves around the story of a veterinarian and a bank robber on the run.

Sporting the new hair extensions, Selena Gomez hit up the streets of Sofia where she and Hawke were spotted in a Ford Mustang Shelby. The breakneck action scene involved Ethan and Selena being chased by US Police cars. Hopping on speeding cars isn't the only scene Selena is involved in but it looks as if the actress has got other toys to play with.

Selena sent out a tweet yesterday with the caption "Released some stress today". The image was of the 19-year old at a shooting range where Selena was steadily holding a gun. Fans would no doubt think it was simply Selena's way of de-stressing but it's obviously related to the film.
