Thanksgiving is the time when we get to see most of the celebrities perform in our streets, without having to buy a ticket! Texas-born star Selena Gomez returned to her home state on Thanksgiving to start the Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle campaign with a halftime performance at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas.

The 21-year-old pop star, whose hometown is in Grand Prairie, Texas, was dressed in a sexy two-piece leather outfit (with a black fringe skirt) that showed off her trim figure. The singer kicked off her performance with "Walk Like A Champion," with constant support of cheerleaders and dancers. She went on to perform a medley of songs which included "Come & Get It" and the audience went crazy as Selena stripped off her black fringe skirt to reveal her skimpy leather shorts.

Selena's tight red leather hot pants looked sexy with a silver chain belt and she teamed them up with a sheer top which showed off her cleavage. The petite and dusky Disney star completed the look with gold gladiator sandals which had golden knotted strings right up to the knees.

"Happy Thanksgiving!," Selena said after concluding her show, which marks the beginning of the Salvation Army's 123rd annual Red Kettle Campaign. The holiday drive aims to provide toys, food and shelter for the economically weaker sections.

"Proud to be performing for a great organization today during the @DallasCowboys game. Support @SalvationArmyUS," Gomez tweeted on Thursday giving her fans a hint to be present as she performs!

Elsewhere in New York, Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone and many other star kicked off the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with high profile performances. Austin made a comeback after throat illness and performed on "Banga Banga" while Arianna wowed the crowds in New York with her stupendous performance on "Last Christmas" from Wham.
