Niall Horan’s rumoured girlfriend Selena Gomez was spotted backstage at “The X-Factor U.K.” Series 12 finale on Dec. 13, Sunday, at Wembley Stadium in London, England. At the time, One Direction returned to the show where they started and had a special performance.

During “The X-Factor UK” Series 12 finale, Gomez was seen wearing a green jacket with a tank-top underneath while mingling with some of Horan’s friends backstage. The former girlfriend of Justin Bieber has said she is just friends with Horan, according to E! News.

On the other hand, Horan is yet to comment on the rumours that he is dating Gomez. He and his fellow One Direction members Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson are set to have an extended hiatus in 2016 following the release of their fifth studio album titled “Made in the A.M.” on Nov. 13.

The songs One Direction performed during “The X-Factor UK” Series 12 finale, which are “ Infinity” and “History,” are both from their “Made in the A.M.” album. The singing competition show was won by Louisa Johnson with Reggie n Bollie as the runner-up.

After performing at “The X-Factor UK” Series 12 finale, One Direction had an after party in London. Eventually, Horan and Gomez were spotted leaving the same party, according to People.

Meanwhile, Gomez is set to star in three films in 2016, which are “In Dubious Battle,” “The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving” and “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising,” after lending her voice to Mavis in “Hotel Transylvania 2.” She will star opposite Josh Hutcherson and Analeigh Tipton in “In Dubious Battle” and opposite Paul Rudd and Jennifer Ehle in “The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving.”

In “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising,” Gomez will star opposite Rose Byrne and Chloe Grace Moretz. The comedy sequel directed by Nicholas Stoller is set to hit theatres in Australia on May 12, 2016.
