"Jelena" is definitely over guys. Selena Gomez has better things to do than talk about Justin Bieber and read his nasty text messages. The 21-year-old has appeared on the cover page of Seventeen magazine's debut Power issue and is named number one most powerful girl 21 and under! She talks about her "really bad breakup," Katy Perry and why she can "scare some guys" because of her celebrity status.

"This year is when I really started feeling powerful," said Selena to the magazine alongside her photo where she wears a T-shirt that reads "Power."

"I had always been the underdog secretly. I was on Disney when it was Miley [Cyrus], the Jonas Brothers and Demi [Lovato]. I questioned the way I looked, acted, sang and wrote. Then I turned 20, went through a really bad breakup and realised I needed to have Come & Get It be amazing," added the Texan beauty.

The ex-girlfriend of Justin Bieber went on to reveal that she is glad it has taken her quite some time to reach where she is now professionally but when it comes to love, she has not found anyone who can understand her completely.

"I actually talked to Katy Perry about guys who are intimidated by strong girls. I haven't found someone yet who could understand my lifestyle, support it, love me through it and not be threatened by it," opened up Gomez.

"It's hard. I do think I might scare some guys, because I'm like, "I want to change the world! I have dreams! What do you want to do?" But I only know how to be me," continued the singer.

Selena then went on to prove that she will speak her heart, even if it means talking about someone who does not like her.

"I recently did an interview and they asked me who I thought was up-and-coming and making a difference. I said, "She doesn't like me, but Lorde." I'm going to support her whether she likes me or not because I think she's doing great things. Someday I will see her and we'll be cool," explained the singer.

Let's remind you that Lorde has been very vocal about how she did not like Selena's song "Come and Get it."
