Selena Gomez worried about Justin Bieber after his Cleveland street brawl; 5 things to know about the fist fight

“Love Yourself” singer Justin Bieber was pummelled to the ground by a man after the NBA Finals Game 3 Warriors vs Cavs in Cleveland game on Thursday. Ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez was reportedly worried about the star.

Here are five things to know about Bieber’s fist fight.

1. In the video that TMZ obtained, a man randomly made light contact with Bieber’s face through his fist. Bieber blew up and retaliated. Bieber was outside the hotel he was staying at while he was in Cleveland to watch the NBA Finals.

2. The reason for the brawl is still unconfirmed, although Bieber’s Cleveland Cavaliers jersey suggests that it might have been a post-game trash talk. It could also be just another hater who took it to a physical level. The bottom line is Bieber couldn’t keep his patience in the face of the offending man. On the other hand, Hollywood Life was apparently contacted by the man in the video, Lamont Richmond, who said that Bieber turned on him after Richmond and his friends asked for Bieber’s autograph. It is still unclear as to whether or not he was the man who threw Bieber to the ground.

3. Boxing sensation Floyd Mayweather, whom Bieber trains with, reacted to the fist fight by applauding him and saying that “he showed he got heart,” as TMZ Sports wrote. Mayweather said nothing about Bieber’s form but shared that at least “What Do You Mean” singer is not a pushover.

4. After the fist fight, Bieber tried to make some humour from the incident by posting a selfie on his Instagram account saying that he got away with no scratches. “Not a scratch on this pretty boy,” Bieber wrote as the caption. The “Sorry” singer took down the post after he was mocked by some of his 70 million followers.

5. Hollywood Life was able to get an exclusive on Bieber’s ex-girlfriend “Hands to Myself” singer Selena Gomez’s reaction about the fist fight. Apparently, Gomez was worried when she heard the news and confronted Bieber about it. Hollywood Life’s source said that Bieber replied that “it was no big deal.”
