Seth McFarlane 'Foretells' Bad Reviews About His New Movie In "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" [VIDEO]
Seth McFarlane talks about his upcoming movie titled "A Million Ways to Die in the West" on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." McFarlane who directed, wrote, and starred in the movie, jokingly lists down possible bad review headlines.
Before McFarlane started, he warned that no one can use his possible bad review headlines anymore. In the video, he reads the first headline, "So for the LA Times: 'A Million Ways to Die at the Box Office," he says.
"Entertainment Weekly: McFarlane Western Fizzles as 'Good Wife' Sizzles," he adds next.
"A Million Ways Also Makes Up for Oscar Tragedy," says the "Family Guy" creator. He relates the headline to his recent hosting of the 2013 Oscars.
After enumerating the short list, McFarlane and Fallon talked more about "A Million Ways," describing the actor's character being a "coward." They also chatted about the beautiful Charlize Theron in the movie, and how they both agreed to her great inclusion in the movie's cast.
McFarlane and Theron shared an easy connection during the movie, resulting in a good onscreen chemistry, according to E! Online. McFarlane said he was intimidated the first time he worked with Theron. But he later realized that the beautiful Oscar winner was easy to get along with, possessing fun characteristics.
McFarlane said that Theron helped him to be at ease during the movie scenes' taping, and he felt like he has worked with the actress for many years already.
Theron also had something to say about McFarlane. The actress said that McFarlane was a great filmmaker and costar. She described filming with McFarlane felt like "you can play way outside of the box." She trusted the actor's film direction calls, and she said the story's possibilities were endless because of him.
Theron added that McFarlane was very precise in directing the movie yet he was still a fun guy to be around. She concluded that her filming experience with McFarlane wasn't like a chore or anything that she needs to force herself doing every day.
