Seth Rogen might be playing Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak in a new biopic. The 32-year-old actor reportedly didn’t have a formal offer yet, but if he gets the part, he would play opposite Christian Bale, who has been cast as Steve Jobs.

A few days after Bale was confirmed to play the late tech genius, Rogen’s name is now attached to playing the Wozniak in the biopic about Jobs, according to The Wrap. Jessica Chastain is also said to being courted for a female role.

Both actors haven’t secured a deal yet, though, with sources close to Rogen telling Huffington Post that the “Pineapple Express” star hasn’t even received a formal offer yet.

While Rogen and Chastain aren’t officially on board yet, Bale was apparently the first choice to play Jobs.

“We needed the best actor on the board in a certain age range and that’s Chris Bale,” screenwriter Aaron Sorkin told Bloomberg. “He didn’t have to audition. Well, there’s a meeting.”

The film is based on Walter Isaacson’s biography of Jobs, and will be directed by Danny Boyle. Sorkin is writing the script. It will follow Jobs during the three product launches of Apple’s iconic products, the Mac, NeXT and the original iPod.

Although Jobs is the better known Steve in Apple, Wozniak, the “Other Steve,” had been a strong force that made the now-multibillion dollar company a reality in its early stages. He founded Apple Computer with Jobs and Ronald Wayne in mid-‘70s. He is also credited as the designer of both Apple I and Apple II personal computers.

Wozniak has been portrayed in films a few times by different actors. The last one was Josh Gad in the 2013 film “Jobs,” in which Ashton Kutcher played the title character.

Meanwhile, Rogen will be seen next in the comedy “The Interview” with James Franco. It will be released on Christmas Day in the U.S.
