For all the fans of the hit romantic comedy series "Sex and the City," there is a ray of hope to see your favorite New York City ladies coming together again. Series' producer Sarah Jessica Parker has recently hinted at the possibility of "Sex and the City" reunion with series 3.

"Sex and the City" is originally a novel written by author Candace Bushnell which was later adapted into the HBO comedy series for 6 seasons. The novel was also adapted into two movies. The first part of which was released in 2008. While the first movie was widely appreciated and liked by the viewers, "Sex and the City 2" received lots of criticism.

But even after ten years of completion of the TV series and four years after the release of the last movie, fans are hoping for the reunion of the cast of four ladies in "Sex and the City 3."

Earlier, Kristin Davis who played the character of Charlotte York earlier hinted at the "Sex and the City" reunion while speaking to Haute Living magazine as reported by the various media outlets. She had revealed that the cast and other members had discussed the probability of the third film. Ever since the producer and actress Sarah Jessica Parker who plays the role of Carrie Bradshaw in the series, has hinted its reunion, a frenzy of speculation has aroused. In an interview with Instyle magazine she dishes out the information.

"A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell. But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn't a decision that can wait forever," told Sarah Jessica Parker to Instyle Magazine while talking about the prospects of "Sex and the City" reunion, as reported by Daily Mail.

The 48 year-old actress added that if the reunion has to happen then it must happen before she and her cast mates are too old to look fashionable, as they always have in the series.

In earlier reports about "Sex and the City 3," Kristin Davis said that the movie is just a part of "discussion" and not a "pipe dream."

However, Cynthia Nixon who plays Miranda and Kim Cattrall who plays Samantha are not too keen on "Sex and the City" reunion. Also, author Candace Bushnell does not think that "Sex and the City" is too good an idea as she believes Sarah Jessica Parker is too old to play Carrie anymore.
