Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker has purchased a new townhouse in New York City worth $21 million US dollars. The actress is currently residing in the West Village area of New York, but will soon be moving to 88 Central Park West.

Parker's new home originally belonged to philanthropist Laurie Tisch. It has a 10 meter-long living room, eight bedrooms, and 10 bathrooms. The new townhouse appears to be perfect for Parker's growing family. The actress has three children, eight year-old James, and 17 month-old twins, Tabitha and Marion, with husband Matthew Broderick.

New York Observer reported that the newly acquired property also has two walk-in wardrobes in the master bedroom, a feature required by Parker's memorable character Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City for a good place of residence.

It does seem that the actress got the best deal out of the property. The price has been slashed by as much as $3.5 million US dollars, since it was first listed back in August. As if life is imitating art, searching for the perfect apartment in New York had been a plot in Sex and the City movie, and now the search is over for Parker and Broderick.
