Sarah Jessica Parker, who is famously known as Carrie Bradshaw in "Sex and The City" is heading Down Under to Australia. Sarah Jessica Parker is heading to Melbourne for this year's "Spring Racing Carnival" as a guest of Crown, the major sponsor of Oaks Day at Flemington racecourse on November 3.

"Ms. Parker is a ubiquitous New York fashion icon and her attendance at the Crown Oaks Day, traditionally ladies' day, will add to the international cache of the day," said a Crown spokesperson.

Sarah Jessica Parker arrived in England a few days ago, fresh off a trip to Russia and was wearing white for a photo shoot at Claridge's. At the London's Soho Hotel photo call, she was seen in a bright dress from Prabal Gurung as she promotes her latest movie "I Don't Know How She Does It." Following the press event, the actress threw on some jeans and heels to take in the sights of the city.

The fashion icon also had time for a Twitter interview with Glamour U.K. Sarah Jessica Parker stated that she has so many fashion icons. "So many. Ingrid Bergman, and the way Kate Moss dresses, and the Duchess of Cambridge," the actress revealed. Sarah Jessica Parker will head home to the U.S. first to promote her latest movie before its release and then in early November she will travel to Melbourne for one last promotional leg. She will attend Crown Oaks Day along with Shane Warne and Elizabeth Hurley.
