The Sydney police have charged a 58-year-old man for filming women having sex without their consent and uploading the videos online. In a related case, Newcastle authorities nabbed an 82-year-old man over some alleged historical sex offenses.

According to the police in Sydney, the alleged offenses took place between 2000 and 2011 in a bookstore on Church Street in Parramatta in Western Sydney. The 58-year-old man was charged for having recorded the act without the women's consent and uploading their videos on a Web site.

"The man allegedly recorded numerous sex acts through the use of a hidden camera and uploaded the videos onto a Web site," police said in a statement Wednesday.

Sydney police had arrested the man Jan. 16 and was been charged with five counts of publishing a private act.

On Friday, police charged him with further 19 offenses of filming a person in a private act without consent.

The police said the man will appear in Parramatta Local Court on Jan. 23, 2014 for further hearing the case.

In another case, police in Newcastle arrested an 82-year-old man and charged him for a number of historical sex offenses alleged to have been committed between 1944 and 1981.

Following investigations, police officers searched a Thronton home and arrested the man for crimes alleged to have been committed in Wallsend, Belmont and Hamilton areas.

The man has been taken to Newcastle Police Station and was refused bail.

Reports claimed the police have charged the man for possession of child pornography, buggery, aggravated indecent assault (four counts), solicit male to commit indecent act, incite person under 16 years to commit act of indecency, sexual assault (seven counts) and indecent assault upon males (38 counts).
