Interviewers may tend to hesitate hiring a woman who has a family. Even though it is illegal to ask a potential employee about family responsibilities, more often than not, people are asked so. Female candidate often face such sex discrimination as they are perceived to be focusing less on her work due to family obligations.

Destruction

The people who face sex discrimination at work may suffer from a sense of loss of dignity and strong resentment. This may lead to destruction which includes physical violence, property destruction and spreading malicious rumors as well. The company and its people may suffer heavily if they do not deal with the problem at the basic level.
