Sexapalooza: Canada’s Grand Celebration of Sexuality [Graphic Slideshow Video]
Sexapalooza, the adult extravaganza in Ottawa, comes to an end on Oct 20. Sunday. The adult expo was held at the Ernst & Young Centre from Oct 18 to 20, 2013.
According to the definition of Urban Dictionary, Sexapalooza means the inability to remember one specific act of sex because of having great sex quite a lot over a certain period of time. Sexapalooza in Canada means an upscale fun adult expo where shopping experience and consumers show come under one roof. The adult show has been expanding and growing for the last seven years.
The show takes you to a world of unique titillating environment which is dedicated to education and entertainment. The show makes an attempt to educate people on various aspects of sexuality while hosting exceptional stage shows where 'how-to' shows teach you sex tips you never knew before. The seminars are held by adult industry professionals who definitely know how to 'do' in the most professional way possible.
The shopping opportunity is great as well. The latest trends in sex toys and other products related to sex are sold here at extremely reasonable prices. The rage of products is sure to surprise your taste. The additional programmes at the expo include a body-painting show where otherwise 'normal' women paint their naked body with colours of their imagination. It is time for them to get dressed in colour and colour only.
Ian MacLeod of Ottawa Citizen asked a 33-year-old blonde, Strachan, how she felt while her breasts were being painted in sky-blue. She is a telecom office manager who is 6 feet tall and, according to MacLeod, 'drop-dead gorgeous'. She said that she felt vulnerable in the beginning but eventually she got used to it and thought she was wearing clothes. She found her body being painted as both liberating and exciting.
This was the 6th year Ottawa celebrated sexuality in the grandest manner possible. However, if you have missed it, you can still go to Montreal where the expo will be held during Nov 8-10 at Palais des congrès.
