With less than a couple of months before “Shades of Blue” Season 2 hits the small screen, fans get another taste of what’s in store in the upcoming installment of the action-packed series. The latest teaser reveals what the main storylines will be, and they definitely look exciting.

Earlier this month, the NBC crime drama aired a teaser featuring Harlee Santos (Jennifer Lopez) and Matt Wozniak (Ray Liotta) walking along a narrow pathway as they reflected back on the previous season. The two met in the middle and raised their guns at each other, with Wozniak claiming that while he has already forgiven Harlee, he’ll never forget what she did.

“Shades of Blue,” which was renewed by NBC in June 2016, will also feature other characters including FBI Agent Robert Stahl (Warren Kole), Tess Nazario (Drea de Matteo), Marcus Tufo ( Hampton Fluker ), Michael Loman ( Dayo Okeniyi ) and Cristina Santos (Sarah Jeffery) .

In the new teaser posted on the series' official Facebook page, Harlee is emotional as she complains, “Every time I had a real choice, I chose the wrong.” Wozniak is also seen shedding a tear, before wondering what Stahl wants from him. “I could use a dirty cop,” Stahl says. Later, Stahl reveals that he needs an insider to watch and dig dirt about Julia Ayres (Anna Gunn), who’s running for mayor. The trailer shows Wozniak mixing business and pleasure as he shares steamy scenes with the candidate.

Wozniak also seems to hold a grudge against Harlee, and he confronts her about what she did to him. “ You were wired. You looked me in the eyes while you were twisting a knife in my back,” he said. He also said that he never imagined that he could ever be a rat like her. Harlee, on the other hand, expresses remorse about her predicament. “I can’t protect the people that I love without hurting other people,” she claims.

Based on its teaser, the second season seems to centre on three things: no trust, no loyalty and no turning back. “Shades of Blue” Season 2 premieres on March 5. Stay tuned for more “Shades of Blue” spoilers.
