'Shadowhunters' season 2 episode 18 spoilers: The Institute gets attacked and the Seelie Queen resurfaces in 'Awake, Arise, or Be Forever Fallen'
"Shadowhunters 2," starring Emeraude Toubia as Isabelle Lightwood, Katherine McNamara as Clarissa "Clary" Fairchild, Alberto Rosende as Simon Lewis, Matthew Daddario as Alec Lightwood, Dominic Sherwood as Jonathan Christopher "Jace" Wayland, will have an upcoming episode titled "Awake, Arise, or Be Forever Fallen," which airs on Freeform on July 31. It will feature an attack at the Institute and the reappearance of the Seelie Queen (Lola Flanery). Read on to learn more about the new episode of the show.

"Shadowhunters" season 2, episode 18 will show The Institute being attacked, which will make everyone on high alert mode. According to a press release from Freeform, the Shadowhunters will also get closer to finding Jonathan Morgenstern, aka Sebastian Verlac (Will Tudor). Elsewhere, Maia (Alisha Wainwright) and Simon will assist a new downworlder. Meanwhile, the Seelie Queen resurfaces and she wants an answer from Luke (Isaiah Mustafa) and Magnus (Harry Shum Jr). Amanda Row directed "Awake, Arise, or Be Forever Fallen."
'Awake, Arise, or Be Forever Fallen' guest stars
The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) lists the following actors and actresses as guest stars in this episode: Kevin Alves as Bat Alyssa Capriotti as Lindsay and Jack Fulton as Max Lightwood. They will be joined by Alexandra Ordolis as Ollie, Tara Joshi as Samantha and Phillip MacKenzie as Brother Enoch.
'Shadowhunters' episodes: 'A Dark Reflection,' 'Hail and Farewell' and 'Beside Still Water'
The episode prior to "Awake, Arise, or Be Forever Fallen" is "A Dark Reflection," which airs on July 24. It was written by Hollie Overton. It will show Clary and Jace trying to recover the missing Mortal Mirror before one of their enemies finds it. Clary will also realise that her brother Jonathan is closer than ever. As for Maia, she will find it difficult to trust Simon and show her true feelings for him. Plus, Isabelle will have a hard time accepting how fast Max is growing up.
After "A Dark Reflection" and "Awake, Arise, or Be Forever Fallen," the "Shadowhunters" episodes titled "Hail and Farewell" (air date: Aug. 7) and "Beside Still Water" (air date: Aug. 14) will be aired next.
