Shailene Woodley Curious about Kissing her Own Brother: Sibling Love in 'Divergent' Helped 'The Fault in Our Stars' Chemistry [PHOTOS]

Nature's own girl Shailene Woodley pointed out her brother-sister chemistry with actor Ansel Elgort in "Divergent" helped the romantic angle in "The Fault in Our Stars." As a matter of fact, Shailene was curious about kissing her own on-screen brother.

"It wasn't that weird because I've always sort of wondered what it'd be like kissing my brother," said Shailene, reporting by The Hollywood Reporter.

The actress was shocked to learn that they were reading together as two studios allowing something like that was a rare affair.

Shailene stated that beauty of being an actor is the relationship shift from one project to another. She also mentioned that "The Fault in Our Stars" bonding would not have happened without "Divergent."

"There's something really beautiful about working with someone and working with them again and again and again, because the more you get to know somebody on a personal level, the more free you feel artistically. I think that if Ansel and I hadn't known each other from Divergent, our relationship in this movie would not be what it is, because we didn't have to go through the rehearsal phase of getting to know one another, becoming comfortable with one another."

Ansel agreed with her co-star.

The actress, who makes her own tea, explained that there would be times when two actors would disagree, but might not open up because of politeness. She revealed that she was quite open with Ansel and it was because of the "Divergent" characters.

"Thank god we were brother and sister, and now we get to spend the next four years together, which is pretty freaking rad," said Shailene.

"The Fault in Our Stars" feature Shailene Woodley as Hazel, who is a teenager battling cancer and she meets Ansel Elgort's character named Gus at a youth cancer support group.
