Jennifer Lawrence is the new career adviser, at least to Shailene Woodley. Woodley shared that the "Hunger Games" and the "X-Men: Days of Future Past" actress shared valuable advice to her, prompting her to say yes to playing Beatrice Prior of "Divergent."

Woodley, who has been casted as Beatrice Prior or Tris of the "Divergent" movie is poised to become the next Big Thing in Hollywood. Lawrence has been in her exact shoes before, when she was casted as Katniss Everdeen of the "Hunger Games" and became an overnight sensation when the movie was released. Both of them have been acting way before they were casted into these heavy roles that have a cult-like following, but there is no doubt that these roles can transform their lives significantly. Because Shailene Woodley also made that connection, the actress admitted to reaching out to Lawrence before she agreed to play Tris in the old-school way, by emailing the Oscars' sensation first to ask for the pros and cons of being part of a franchise such as "Divergent."

Shailene Woodley, 22, shared to E! News that reaching out to Lawrence, even though she have not met Lawrence yet at that time, was a good a decision and a huge reason why she said yes to it all. Woodley shared that Jennifer shared some wisdom to her, which inclues asking her not to do drugs and make a sex tape among others.

"I sent her an email-I had never met her-and I was like, 'Hey, Jen! I know you don't know who I am, but I have this opportunity and I was wondering how Hunger Games affected your life, if you were happy with your decision, etc.,'" said Woodley of writing to Lawrence, 23. "She was like, 'Listen, there are a few things that you should not do, like drugs and make a sex tape, or go to Whole Foods the day the movie opens, but it's gonna change your life in so many positive ways. Definitely do it."

Who would have thought Lawrence can give such a sound advice? Now, if only some actresses can teach her how to walk in heels.

Hero Complex is set to host a free IMAX screening of "Divergent" on Wednesday, March 19, at the AMC Burbank 16 & IMAX in Burbank beginning at 7:30 p.m. The movie opens in theaters nationwide on March 21.
