Zendaya is loving Selena Gomez's new music, "Heart Wants What It Wants." She said she felt connected to the artist when she heard it.

Selena Gomez's new song, "Heart Wants What It Wants" is making waves, with many saying she wrote it to express her heartbreak over Justin Bieber. A person she undeniably touched is Disney star, Zendaya. Hollywood Life reports that the young actress thinks its brave for Selena to come out with the song. For her, it's "the perfect departure" for Selena.

The talented dancer and actress told Hollywood Life that the song really got into her the moment "the bass hit." She describes it as "phenomenal" and could not help gushing about how it touched her. "It's a perfect different sound, as soon as that bass hit I was like 'oh snap, get it Selena.' It was dope, I really like it," Zendaya revealed.

She especially likes that the video showed Selena wearing her heart on her sleeve, because as a spectator, she felt like she could relate to the song and connect to the artist. For her, songs that allowed one to connect with the artist are the most relatable onces and "Heart Wants What It Wants" is one of these songs. She personally does not know what Selena's heart "wants" with this song, but Zendaya could assume Selena was singing about a heartbreak. She added that it's understandable if Selena would sing about her heartbreak. "So many people have been through that and can understand where she is coming from and feel her pain and that makes for better music," the "Shake It Up" star said.

Many did feel the song was about Selena's heartbreak -- with Justin Bieber, specifically. Their very public split up leaves many thinking that she's singing about him. Hollywood Life also previously reported that the recording the song was a therapy for Selena Gomez. The site's source claims that Selena singing the song made her feel stronger about her decision to move on from Justin Bieber and let the remaining negative feelings out. The source even added that although Justin has been relentlessly pursuing her since the breakup, Selena is not taking the bait anymore.
