Shane Warne has revealed that he has split with Elizabeth Hurley. The Spin King has put persistent split rumours to rest, confirming that he and the English beauty have called it quits.

The now ex-couple were engaged in 2011, and have since been reported to have an on-off relationship. This time, though, it appears that they are over for good.

“Liz and I are still friends. We catch up when we can. It’s a shame it’s all over. It’s done, but that’s the way it goes unfortunately,” he told “Sunrise” on Wednesday.

Perhaps referring to the rumours that he had a hotel tryst with Ultimo founder Michelle Mone, Warne called recent tabloid reports “absolute load of rubbish.”

UK tabloid The Sun claimed that Warne romanced Mone in her hotel room at The Dorchester Hotel on Valentine’s Day weekend, just hours after he spent the day with Hurley. According to the rag, he showered the lingerie queen with champagne and red roses.

Mone denied meeting a man who was already committed to someone else, though, saying she has been single for the past 18 months.

Warne recently uploaded another topless selfie on his Instagram account, attracting criticisms from commenters who think he has become too thin.
