Shane Warne hasn’t confirmed rumours that he’s dating model Emily Scott yet, but he’s already got a warning. Jonny Sonic, from the dance trio The Potbelleez, issued a strong warning to the former international cricketer, telling Warne that Scott “is not a nice person.”

“Oh god SHANE don’t do it!!!!!!!!!” the dancer/DJ wrote on an Instagram photo of The Daily Telegraph’s story on the lovers.

When one friend commented on his outburst with, “Haha Jonny,” he replied, “She is NOT a nice person!!!!”

He added in a separate post, “Shane’s in for a treat with Emily I tell ya ...Not in a goof way!”

Sonic himself hasn’t dated Scott, so he could not have been speaking from experience. His friend, DJ Bass Kleph, has, though, which is probably why he was so convinced that Scott wouldn’t be good to Warne.

Warne, meanwhile, has downplayed his relationship with Scott after accompanying her to boxer Jeff Fenech’s 50th birthday celebration on Wednesday.

According to The Telegraph, Warne, 44, and the 30-year-old Scott were “cuddling and kissing in front of 150 guests” during that night.

Fenech was mum on the two’s supposed relationship, only telling the paper, “As long as my friend’s happy, I’m rapt.

“It was really special to have them at my party but I’ll respect Shane’s privacy and leave it at taht. He’s a close friend and he wouldn’t want me talking about it.”

The pair reportedly started dating for month, but have only come public with their relationship.

Not quite so, according to Warne, who tweeted Scott in a bid to play down the dating rumours. The one-time “I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!” contestant Scott also replied, joking that they were getting married now.

@ShaneWarne it seems so... Hear that's how it goes now lol . Happy wedding day
