Shane Warne’s smaller frame and glistening skin has continued to attract detractors for Australia’s King Spin. While even his girlfriend and British model, Elizabeth Hurley has been taking the hit for the ‘metrosexual transformation’ of once very chunky, boozy and burly Shane Warne, the cricketer’s dad, Keith could no longer stand it as he has come to his defense.

His new looks according to reports may have disappointed many who have looked up to Shane Warne especially during his glory days in Cricket. The 41-year-old cricketer is seen as one of the finest in the game.

The Daily Mail said that many men want to be like him and others even want to have a drink with him; children look up to him and women ‘could not help but be crazy about his rugged self’. Until he sported the new look.

To everyone’s chagrin.

According to the Mirror-UK, his so-called “metrosexual transformation” is seen by “Aussie blokes” as a bit ‘girly’ and Shane Warne is described as ‘emasculated’ by his girlfriend and British model, Liz Hurley.

This has hurt Shane’s dad.

“Well, I think he looks great. People should leave Shane and his image alone,” Shane’s dad Keith was quoted as saying by the Mirror-UK.

Keith also kept mum about Liz Hurley and the allegations that the “46-year-old model has influenced Shane to take a 360-degree turn about his image.

“I just don’t want to say any more,” Keith said.

Liz met Shane’s parents, Keith and Bridgette, when the actress visited Australia in February 2011.

Shane Warne hits the headlines when he was photographed looking thin and sweaty when he was leaving Hurley’s London base last week. The two have been together as a couple late last year after they met in an event in London in July. They have announced separation from their respective spouses since then.
