Sharemarket takes a dip
On the Sydney Futures Exchange this morning, the share price index futures contract was 12.7 points down at 4674.1 points. The All Ordinaries was off 11.3 points at 4726.7 points.
Wednesday trading saw the benchmark S&P/ASX200 Index going up 79.9 points (1.73 percent) to 4686.8, and the broader All Ordinaries Index adding 77.4 points (1.66 percent) to 4730 points.
BHP Billiton Limited (ASX: BHP) surged $1.03 at $40.53
Rio Tinto Limited (ASX: RIO) also went up by $1.99 to settle at $78.99
Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX: ANZ) gained 50 cents at $24.07
Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX: CBA) increased with 59 cents at $51.84
National Australia Bank Limited (ASX: NAB) moved up 51 cents at $25.88
Westpac Banking Corporation also increased 31 cents at $23.42
AMP Limited (ASX: AMP) gained 10 cents at $5.35
Insurance Australia Group Limited (ASX: IAG) continue to move up with seven cents at $3.71
QBE Insurance Group Limited (ASX: QBE) also gained 30 cents at $17.48
Telstra Corporation Limited (ASX: TLS) slightly increased with two cents at $2.64
Telecom Corporation of New Zealand in Australia (ASX: TEL) also gained one cent at $1.58
David Jones Limited (ASX: DJS) went up 11 cents to settle at $4.98
Harvey Norman Holdings Limited (ASX: HVN) this time moved up five cents at $3.85
Wesfarmers Limited (ASX: WES) goes on upwards with 55 cents at $33.88
Woolworths Limited gained four cents at $29.85
Toll Holdings Limited (ASX: TOL) increased 29 cents at $7.00
Qantas Airways Limited (ASX: QAN) went up eight cents at $2.88
