Sharon Stone Still Sultry as a Mom in the Porn Star Adaptation 'Lovelace'
In the upcoming biopic, the sexy star of the 'Basic Instinct' fame, sexy Sharon Stone would be seen playing mother to a porn star. Stone would be portraying the character of Dorothy Boreman, mother of 'Deep Throat 'Pornstar, Linda Lovelace.
Defying the dreaded facelifts and other enhancing procedures, Stone now at age 55, opts to look her age and be as natural as possible.
'Yes, I have come close - but frankly, I think that in the art of aging well there's this sexuality to having those imperfections. It's sensual," the DailyMail UK quoted Stone from New You Magazine interview.
The actress, hailed to stardom by Paul Verhoeven's erotic thriller, "Basic Instinct", claims that she seldom watches a porn film. Nonetheless, as an actor she loves to get the into the skin of a character and transform herself completely to play these parts.
She told the skynews.com that she is nothing closer to the part she is playing and nor she is anything like the role she played in the movie "Basic Instinct."
"I am not recognizable in the movie Lovelace and it won't be that easy for the people to relate to me as it is in the films where I am looking more beautiful and glamorous," said Stone in a press briefing.
Sharon told Vulture.com in at the cinematic society that she was not aware of the porn movie 'Deep Throat' before starting work in the movie. She said that the only kind of porn movie she had seen was a Scandavian pornography, which she described as "filmed beautifully."
"The people who filmed it had a kind of flair. I remember watching ... I think her name was Seka." She continued.
Lovelace revolves around the traumatic relationship of Linda Lovelace and her husband Chuck. After being forced by her husband to become an adult movie star, Lovelace quits the industry and seeks separation from her husband.
Amanda Sefried of "Mean Girls" and "Mama Mia" fame would be seen playing the role Linda Lovelace, while Peter Sarsgaard would be donning the role of her spouse in the film.
The film was showcased in Sundance Film Festival on January 22 and received mixed reviews. Directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, the film would be coming to theaters near you on August 8.
