Sherlock Season 3 premiere is not happening until much later in the year. But spoilers may be found across social media channels. After all, the BBC series is staying as faithful as possible to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic. So the readers are not totally blind about what will happen next. Still, the new Sherlock trailer is making fans very excited. A lot of tweets attest to that.

When a new Sherlock Season 3 trailer was released, Twitter exploded with excitement from fans of the series. (900,000 views in under 24 hours.) The video preview speaks volumes despite its silence, thanks to the brilliant music and fantastic acting of those in the clip.

The Sherlock Season 3 preview stars (in order of appearance) Mrs Hudson, Lestrade, Mycroft, Molly, Sherlock (or a reflection of the titular character), John (who's sporting a moustache) and Sherlock again, this time in full view. No one said anything, but the music and images are enough to spark excitement among fans.

In the last part of the trailer, John and Sherlock are in the same location. Sherlock is about to approach his BFF. One of the most important Season 3 spoilers is the wedding of John Watson. Before that, however, viewers will witness the bros' reunion.

Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) fakes his own death at the end of Sherlock Season 2 ("The Reichenbach Fall"). Viewers have mixed takes on how it happened, stirring impatience for the Season 3 show.

"So many people theorising - and they missed it," BBC's Sherlock creator Steven Moffat earlier said. The creator also gave clues for Sherlock Season 3. He said, "These three words might be a title, it might be a clue. They are Rat. Wedding. Bow." Scroll down to watch the trailer.

Reports say Sherlock Season 3 premiere will air by late 2013 (UK) or early 2014 (U.S.).
