‘She’s the Man’ star Amanda Bynes gives status update to fans

Former teen star Amanda Bynes has decided to break her social media hiatus and give fans an update on her life. Six months after she last used her Twitter account, the “She’s the Man” star tweeted messages announcing her wellbeing.

“Hi everybody! I haven’t tweeted in a long time and I want to say hi! I’ve been really busy at FIDM, and I just finished my midterms,” the 30-year-old actress tweeted.

The Hollywood star seems to be doing well in her education at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. After announcing back in 2012 how she’s decided to quit acting and instead pursue fashion, Bynes looks to be sincere in piecing back her life.

“I am really loving school and I feel that I am learning a lot. I enjoy all of my classes and my teachers are excellent,” she continued.

“I’m really appreciative of all that FIDM is giving me. I’ve been in school learning about the fashion business so I don’t have time to tweet.”

Amanda Bynes was among the promising Hollywood teen stars of 2000’s, reaching stardom through Nickelodeon series “All That” and “The Amanda Show.” She later starred in several films including “What A Girl Wants” (2003), “She’s the Man” (2006), “Hairspray” (2007) and “Sydney White” (2007). Bynes also landed a supporting role in “Easy A” (2010) and has not acted since.

From that point on, the actress’s life went downhill. Bynes was involved in numerous legal issues and public disputes. Even fans who follow the former Nickelodeon princess on Twitter bore witness to Bynes’ disturbing posts and how her behaviour deteriorated over time. Later, Bynes announced herself that she’d been diagnosed as bipolar and manic depressive and was on medication.

Now, for the first time since a February tweet about her new haircut, Bynes updated fans about her life these days. While she also ranted about posers on Twitter and asked to take down other accounts using her name, she ultimately left a positive update on how her life is nowadays.
