The actor reportedly admitted to having molested several young girls, as told by TMZ. Quite strange but the actor who played the role of Reverend Eric Camden, father-of-seven, is charged with child molestation cases.
The actor who played the role of an adorable pastor in the series of a family show is charged with pedophile cases after his own confessions which were recorded in a tape during the marriage counseling session, became public. As per Daily Mail, in the recorded therapy session, Collins admits that he exposed himself to several young girls between the ages of 10 and 13 in both Los Angeles and New York.
After the tape made public by TMZ, the actor's life has turned upside down overnight. He resigned from the position from Screen Actors Guild Board and is removed from the upcoming movie Ted-2. The actor is also fired from another upcoming show Scandal and all the reruns of the show 7th Heaven are now being plugged out.The Agency for the Performing Arts has severed ties with the actor following the news outbreak, a company representative told TheWrap.
The estranged wife of the actor Faye Grant has even claimed that the actor even has incestuous fantasies about their own child. She also revealed Collins was treated for a sex addiction and was seeing a therapist but refused for further treatment where he required to be hospitalized for his inclination towards small children, as told by Daily Mail.
To add to the controversy, a woman named Ilene called up Boston radio station Mix104.1 on Wednesday morning and illustrated the strange and questionable behavior of the actor, way back in 1990s when she used to work as a nanny in the same building where he was residing at that time.
Close family and friends including the crew members of the hit show are still in shock after the news came out. They even feared that he may harm himself and don't want to leave him alone at this moment. In the meantime, the LAPD received an emergency call saying that a gunshot is being heard in the same neighborhood where the actor usually lives after a similar tweet by the former Playboy model and Baywatch star Donna D'Errico. Police rushed to the spot to find that it was a false alarm.
