Shocking Secrets Of Prince Charles And Princess Diana Revealed: Queen Elizabeth Furious, Orders Abolition of Future Memoirs By The Royal Staff
After the trusted aide of Prince Charles and Princess Diana Dickie Arbiter revealed shocking secrets of his time in the palace in a memoir, the Buckingham Palace ordered a crackdown on any future memoirs written by the royal staff.
Dickie served in the palace for 12 years and his memoir is called "On Duty With The Queen: My Time As A Buckingham Palace Press Officer."
In his memoir, Dicki talks about the controversial relationship between Princess Diana and Prince Charles, as well as three royal marriages and their secret affairs. Dickie has already sold the rights of book publication to a national newspaper.
Reportedly, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles are furious with the memoir and they have warned the staff to do no such thing, and they have had a series of meetings to discuss the content of the book.
"It has been made clear in no uncertain terms that this will be the last time the Royal family will be made to endure such public humiliation by someone who was once trusted enough to become a central figure in the Royal household," a source told Mirror.
The future employment of any staff in the royal palace is said to be governed by strict laws. They would be allowed to work in the palace under strict contract terms.
"Legal experts will ensure that all future employment at the Palace is governed by strict clauses in contracts stopping people simply gossiping in public and selling it off."
In his book, Dickie also talks about the breakdown of the marriage between Princess Diana and Prince Charles, and the latter's affair with Camilla Parker Bowles. The book also talks about the never-before-revealed secrets of Prince Charles and Princess Diana's crumbling marriage and the turmoil the latter went through.
Sources say Dicki had refrained from writing the memoir for many years; he declined many previous offers, but finally took the one by Blink Publishing.
