Blake Lively is said to star alongside Jude Law and Channing Tatum in movie that's said to bring viewers a hell of "Side Effects."

"Contagion" director Steven Soderbergh is set to direct another psychological thriller and he's already got writer Scott Z Burns on board. Though the film was originally entitled as "The Bitter Pill," a few changes were made before director Soderbergh decided on "The Side Effects." This film however was not Soderbergh's original idea for a movie right after "Haywire" and "Magic Mike." Given that he was unable to seal the deal with Warner Bros for his film "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." he opted to create the psychological thriller instead.

The movie revolves around Emily Hawkins, played by "Gossip Girl's" Blake Lively, who becomes dependent on prescription medications to cope with her growing anxiety due to her fear of her husband being released from prison. Her onscreen husband will be played by Channing Tatum, of who is also said to star in two different Soderbergh films - "Haywire" and "Magic Mike", while Blake Lively's psychiatrist will be played by "Sherlock Holmes'" Jude Law.

Since he did start the casting late last December, the said actors haven't been given the actual deal but the talks are already in the works so filming would start April of this year with a release date for 2013. As for productions' finances, Summit was reportedly said to finance the film but pulled out the last minute. Sources say that Megan Ellison's Annapurna Pictures will work to finance the production for "Side Effects."

Even with the lead roles already figured out, there are still a few roles director Steven Soderbergh is set to fill out. Hopefully, he'll be able to bring together an awesome cast for this much awaited psychological thriller.

While the talks are being finalized on "The Side Effect" Soderbergh's other film, "Haywire", an action packed thriller is said to hit the big screen a few weeks from now. "Haywire" has a star-studded cast of who include Michael Douglas, Ewan McGregor and MMA fighter Gina Carano.

Steven Soderbergh is one busy man and there's no hint about him going on a hiatus from film making.
