“Wild Things” actress Denise Richards will guest star as Pepper Spinner in the second episode of “Significant Mother.” The CW Network’s promo video for the upcoming episode teased about Nate Marlowe’s horrible date Pepper. “Significant Mother” episode 2 titled “Mixed Doubles” is scheduled to air on Monday night, Aug. 10 at 9:30/8:30c on the CW Network.

Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major “Significant Mother” spoilers.

The CW’s trailer for “Significant Mother” episode 2 features Denise Richards as the blonde, hot and experienced Pepper Spinner. Nate Marlowe, played by Josh Zuckerman, will meet Pepper at the Lincoln restaurant.

“Give me a call if you want someone to help you with your stroke,” Pepper tells Nate before handing over her contact number. Nate thinks it is awkward to date an older woman but Sam Dillinger, played by Emma Fitzpatrick, gives her stamp of approval.

“So what? She’s smokin’ hot,” Sam tells Nate. The voiceover in the promo video wonders what could go wrong in Nate and Pepper’s relationship and the next scene shows that Nate’s mom knows Pepper.

In an interview with People, Denise Richards revealed that her character and Nate’s mom Lydia, played by Krista Allen, used to be rivals. “Lydia then runs into Pepper on a date with her son. They also both date younger men, so it does make for an interesting dynamic!” Richards said.

The next scene in the promo video shows Jimmy Barnes, played by Nathaniel Buzolic, telling his best friend Nate that his cougar date is making Lydia uncomfortable. However, Nate thinks that his mom is the one who is ruining his date.

“A double date with my mom, my best friend. That might be a little horrible,” Nate declares in the upcoming episode’s promo video. Meanwhile, Denise Richards, 44, further talked about her part in the new comedy series of the CW Network during the interview with People.

When asked to describe her character, Richards responded that Pepper is very unapologetic and she is someone who does not have a filter but not in a spiteful way. Furthermore, Richards expressed support for the show’s concept of an older woman dating a younger man during the interview.

Richards thinks that sometimes a relationship is not about the age but the connection with the person. “I say whatever makes you happy. Sometimes you can't help who you have a connection with,” Richards told People.
