"The Sims 4" will already be launching in a day, but if you have already preordered the title, you can now start pre-loading the game so you can play it the moment it becomes available.

Electronic Arts has announced this over their official website the news that "The Sims 4" will be available for pre-load for those who have preordered the game on Origin. Once the title becomes available, you only need to launch Origin to download the copy. This can be done by checking your Game Library and hovering the cursor over the game tile.

After pre-loading, "The Sims 4" will unlock once the title launches in your area. Those in the U.S., Central Asia and Russia will get it on Sept. 2. Those in Australia, Japan and Europe will see "The Sims 4" launched on Sept. 4. Those in New Zealand, India, South Africa and the U.K. will be able to play on Sept. 5.

Figuring Out The Difference Between 'The Sims 4' and 'The Sims 3'

For the most part of marketing "The Sims 4," the main takeaway for most players is that the latest iteration of the game will be heavily influenced by the emotions of Sims. These Sims will also be smarter this time around, as well as having more personality rather than just mindless characters living in your PC screen.

In exploring the hands-on demo of "The Sims 4," GameSpot reports that emotionality and personality may really be the key additions to the game. The creation tools of the title did not significantly vary from what is already being offered in the past iterations of the title.

But more than just making a Sim character happy or sad as a major part of his life, it seems that the Sims will act autonomously as their personality dictates. And in turn, these personality traits develop depending on what they do, and these will further affect how the Sims will experience other actions as affected by their emotions.

Customization And Limitations for 'The Sims 4'

Extending to the customization mode of "The Sims 4," it seems that the search bar has made things easier in Buy Mode, so you can just search for what you want instead of having to go through all of the things you don't really need.

There are also limitations to the title, most notable of which is that the career part of "The Sims 4" is less interesting than before. According to the report, your Sim will disappear for hours when they're at work, as you can only wait for them to come back home instead of monitoring how they feel and what they need.

A takeaway from this is that "The Sims 4" will get interesting thanks to the addition of emotions but it still has limitations from being a real "simulation" of real life. Perhaps EA may be planning some additions in the form of DLCs which could enhance the gameplay even more.
