'Sisterhood of Traveling Pants' Member Open To Doing a Sequel
The sisterhood is indeed 'everlasting,' as one of the cast members hints her interest in doing a sequel to the 'Sisterhood of Traveling Pants' series.
America Ferrera recently spoke to InTouch, and she talks about how she and the rest of the 'Sisterhood' members, namely Alexis Bledel, Blake Lively and Amber Tamblyn are open to do another movie.
"I think the four of us only ever think about how we can get back together and make people pay us to be with each other," America says. "So all four of us would be very, very open to working with each other."
It helps that the four are close friends in real life, as America reveals further that they stay in touch "all the time" and that her costars are three of her best friends.
But if anything, the strongest proof of their friendship is their attendance to each other's wedding. For instance, when the 'Ugly Betty' star got married to her husband Ryan Piers Williams two years ago, Blake and Amber were reportedly in attendance.
More than a year later, when Blake married Ryan Reynolds in a secret wedding, she included her 'Sisterhood' friends in the very small guest list. Likewise, the 'Gossip Girl' star attended Amber's wedding to David Cross a month after.
Last March, Alexis got engaged to 'Mad Men' co-star Vincent Kartheiser after a year of dating, and judging from the weddings of the other 'Sisterhood' cast, she is likely to invite them to her wedding.
'The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants' is a movie adapted from the young adult book of the same title by Ann Brashares. It follows the story of four best friends Bridget, Carmen, Lena and Tibby, and how a pair of jeans became witness to their friendship.
The possibility of a new 'Sisterhood' movie is due to the latest addition to the book series, entitled 'Sisterhood Everlasting' which was released in 2011, and portrays the four best friends as adults with jobs and relationships.
