Max Papis earned a hard reputation over the years, so it came as a surprise that he got slapped, no less than by a girl. Now, he's claiming he also got an injury out of it. A dislocated jaw! That must be one hard slap. The Italian NASCAR is well known for being vocal when he does not like what other drivers are doing.

On Sunday, however, at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Chevy Silverado 250 held at the Canadian Motorsport Park, Papis was the one confronted. On the final lap, while striving for the victory, Papis' truck bumped into Mike Skeen's truck, leading the two cars to spit out. This apparently enraged Kelly Heaphy, Mike Skeen's girlfriend, who confronted Papis by giving him a piece of her mind, and a taste of her palm.

Below is the video of what went down on Sunday, including Papis' slap.

Max Papis shared his feelings regarding the incident to ESPN.

Max Papis claimed the slap left him with a dislocated jaw. "This crazy lady comes shouting at me, and I had no idea, didn't even understand her, she just started shouting," Papis told ESPN.com. And all the sudden, she took a full hand ... and she slapped me so hard. I'm not kidding. My jaw got dislocated and my left ear is still ringing, big time."

He also proceeded to insult Skeen. "What do you do? You don't hit a lady," Papis said. "I was in disbelief. Complete disbelief. If she would've closed her hand it would have been a bad punch, because she hit me so freaking hard ... I went to (Skeen) and said, 'I guess we know who's the man in the family here, because the guy didn't even have the (guts) to talk."

He also resorted to airing his views on Twitter. After the incident, Max Papis returned the confrontation, not in the form of a slap naturally, but through Twitter, everyone's favorite confrontation medium. Max Papis tweeted, "That deal was only between me and #6 driver we could have solved it alone ...but I guess he needed some ...help !!!!"

After a while, he tweeted another, where he seems less agitated by the event already. He said, "At the end is all fun and it makes my sport @nascar more real ... All will get fixed relax people and thanks u all I'll survive !!!"
