FOX's new mystery-adventure drama "Sleepy Hollow" opened to great viewership numbers in the U.S. The pilot episode packed a lot of details and provided significant information about all the major characters, including the headless horse-rider.

The second episode of "Sleepy Hollow" Season 1, "Blood Moon," puts Lt. Sergeant Abbie (Nicole Beharie) and Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) together as a team, which promises to provide for a lot of amusing moments as well as thrilling adventure.

Mr Crane is a man who was buried in 1776 and woke-up in 2013. Things have changed from then to now: black people are no longer the slave, women wear pants, prices of everything has hit the roof and thus the taxes, too. "...10 per cent levy on baked goods, revolutionary war began on less than 2 per cent," Mr Crane could be heard telling Abbie in the preview.

If episode 1 of "Sleepy Hollow" was absurd, entertaining and engaging, the preview of episode 2, "Blood Moon" promises to take the absurdity even further. Mr Crane claims to have invented the 'Boston Tea Party' so that he could steal something from the British. The "tall, dark and British" man, as Abbie's sister describes him, looks like is going to re-write American History.

The pilot episode of "Sleepy Hollow" talked about the dark forces. In "Blood Moon," the first dark spirit awaits the entry into the world. The preview of second episode also suggests that Mr Crane wonders may be Abbie is a threat and her sister, too

"The complex pasts of the pair (Mr Crane and Abbie), from Ichabod's inclusion in the powerful and secretive Freemasons Society to Abbie's childhood visions, will help them solve the intricate puzzles of Sleepy Hollow in order to protect its - and the world's - future," according to the page of "Sleepy Hollow" on Channel Ten.

The preview of "Blood Moon" indicates that Abbie desires to go back as it was before and Mr Crane could be heard: "I'm afraid, neither of us can."
